The Effective Director Pathway

The holder can diagnose a board against a named framework, place a decision at the correct tier of accountability, interrogate a risk architecture and a set of financial statements, and run a disciplined first hundred days in a new seat.

The capstone

The pathway closes with a capstone assessment set by GSV. All eight pathway capstones were approved by GSV on 27 October 2026.

A participant who passes the capstone, having completed every programme in the pathway within the 24 months before the capstone submission, receives the GSV pathway certificate.
