Jurisdictional lenses
The United Kingdom; the DIFC and ADGM; the UAE onshore federal regime (CMA, covering ADX and DFM); Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and Kuwait.

The Matrix
GSV advises across the UK and the GCC. The Matrix is how that advice stays current: a comparative reference to corporate governance across nine jurisdictional lenses, maintained by the principal and checked against primary sources every week.
What it covers
The United Kingdom; the DIFC and ADGM; the UAE onshore federal regime (CMA, covering ADX and DFM); Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and Kuwait.
From board composition, independence and directors' duties through committees, related parties, disclosure and takeovers to pre-IPO and listing requirements, each set out jurisdiction by jurisdiction with the governing instrument named.
Eight regimes that sit beside company law and bear on boards, including whistleblowing, family companies, data protection and AI governance, and merger control.
How it is kept current
Why it matters to your board
In 2026 alone, the UAE reset its federal capital markets regime under a new Capital Market Authority and brought new merger control Executive Regulations into force. A board advised on last year's position is exposed on this year's.
Every GSV mandate and Academy programme starts from the Matrix, and statutory references are verified at each delivery rather than carried forward on trust.
The quarterly digest
A short note each quarter on the developments that matter at board level across the UK and the GCC, drawn from verified Matrix entries. No marketing, and no more than one email a quarter.
The Matrix is an internal GSV reference and is not published. The digest is general information and is not legal advice.
